Behavior Specialist – Backpack Program

Provides school and community-based behavioral treatment services to children and youth who are struggling with emotional and behavioral challenges in the public-school setting. The Behavior Specialist will manage up to five clients, developing interventions and formulating treatment plans, functional behavior assessment and behavior plans for the purpose of providing a safe and effective educational environment for students. The position will focus on effecting positive behavioral change in students and providing supportive interventions to families and/or students. Qualifications: A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in job related field and training in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis. Experience working with children and youth with serious emotional and behavioral challenges, and superior interpersonal skills. Valid driver’s license, excellent driving record, and access to a safe, reliable, insured vehicle.
